I love the feature but hate it too.

my screen will fade in and out obviously to adjust to the light conditions..

but seriously u want to be able to use the feature for more then 30 seconds..

help?

same with my keys.. which is why i brought a PB instead of a new macbook :(

Don't worry. You can make a simple adjustment. Click on the blue apple. Go down to system preferences and then click on displays. Next you want to go down to the bottom of the screen and check the box that says "Automatically adjust brightness as ambient light changes.

If you are wanting it to change faster then you are out of luck. I'm not sure which direction you are going. What is your key problem?

ive done so, its only annoying cause when im watching a movie say, it'll jump up and down and up again lol

now does this apply for my keyboard too?

so if i turn it on, will it stay on and not adjust too like it was with the screen?

Thank you so very much lol

something so simple but so annoying!

I do not have a keyboard that lights up. Did you check under system preferences then keyboard to see if you have a setting there? If not, your solution might be a cheap keyboard to use when you are watching movies rather than your Mac keyboard (or put it under a pillow or something to block the light).
