After doing a "Verify Disk", I got this:

[...]
Checking volume information.
Volume Header needs minor repair
The volume HD needs to be repaired.

Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit

1 HFS volume checked
Volume needs repair

A little Google search yielded this:

Boot from OS X Boot Disc, access Disk Utility and do the repair.

Make sure that if you are using Tiger that you use a Boot Disk that has Tiger on it.

Is this correct?

I have the Install Disk. Same thing?

Also, I am currently running 10.4.10.
Any problems if the install disk is an older version of 10.4?

Thanks!

By the way, what is this "Volume Header needs minor repair"?

Is it serious?

That is right. Since the drive that needs repair is mounted, some things can not be repaired unless it's not mounted. You boot from the OSX DVD or the install DVD that came with your Mac. Run Disk Utility from the drop down menu. Since it's just running the Disk Utility, the version 10.4 or 10.4.10 makes no difference. I have done what you are going to do many times. That should fix it.

Let us know.

:D

All should be ok unless the drive is really messed up. Good Luck.
