I say pay the extra $150 for the black paint. That's mighty fine black paint.

Honestly, I would save the extra money spent on the Black MacBook and put it towards RAM upgrade. You'll be fine with a White One. Unless you absolutely personally want Black. :)

you mean the processor> 2.0 GHZ and 2.16 GHZ well unless you customise them there are a lot more differences than just the .16 GHZ processing speed.

The 2.0 Ghz one only has a combo drive, so you can't burn dvds. Also only 80GB hardrive.

The 2.16 GHz has Dual Layer Superdrive so you can burn dvds. And 120GB hardrive.

im getting the 2nd one

do you think 80 is not enght

It depends on what you use it for.. No one here knows what you are going to do...

I have an iMac with a 500GB drive, I have used about 250GB of that... I have a MacBook that only has the 80gb drive, and I've only used 20 of that.

If you are looking for a desktop replacement, I would recommend the 2.16 strictly because of the SuperDrive (DVD Burner). If it is just your on-the-go machine, and you already have a desktop machine with a DVD burner... then I would HIGHLY recommend the 2.0, base MacBook model.

You can upgrade the RAM and the HD yourself anytime.

If price isn't a problem, I would definitely go for the 2.16 Ghz w/superdrive version. :)

I like the feel of the white MacBook a lot better than the black.
