Hi, I just bought a 3rd generation MacBook Black and was hoping to do some upgrading. (yes already) But I was disapointed to hear that you cannot put in a 3rd party graphics card! Is this true?? I really want to upgrade my graphics. Also, is there a BluRay burner/reader available for my computer?? Thanks in advance.

The graphics card is soldered to the logic board so no you can't upgrade your graphics card.

You can get an external Blu-Ray drive for about £700. I don't know if anyone makes anything "MacBook sized", but it would cost a lot more if they did.

The vast majority of laptops out there (and pretty much everything in the Macbook size) don't allow for video card upgrades. Not sure what gave you the idea that it would be upgradeable....
