Hey guys,

I need some help. I have a PowerMac G4 Quicksilver. I want to upgrade it to dual processors. Is this possible? Or do i have to buy another motherboard?

Thanks in advance,
JD

That's incorrect, witeshark.

beret9987, you can upgrade it with no problem via a number of upgrade manufacturers such as Sonnet (www.sonnettech.com) or Powerlogix (www.powerlogix.com). They also offer, as you requested, dual processor upgrades for single processor machines. They're also fairly simple to install, taking 10 minutes or so.

Also check out Giga Designs and OWC. OWC has a pretty straightforward upgrade guide on their site, and they sell their own line of upgrades.
