how to play .mdf file on a mac??

i got a file that is .mdf. how do i play this on mac? what player or codec do i need to get to play this file? thanks for the help

I got one of these once, its like a dvd image, his was on windows, I used Alcohol 120% to open it, I dont know whether they do a mac version or not?

Edit, if its a video or dvd, I think you can change the siffix to .cdr (from .mdf) and it might work??
