Are there extracting programs that can unzip or unrar a file bigger than 4 GB?

I seem to be having trouble finding one. BetterZip and Stuffit wouldn't do it and kept on giving me errors after reaching 4 GB. The file I'm trying to extract is about 8 GB(7.96 GB).

what are you extracting to? your mac HD or an external. if its an external, it is probably in FAT32, in which case is the problem. FAT32 can only hold files up to 4GB in size. kind of a downer but thats how it is. the programs should not be the problem. let me know.
