I re3cently purchased a G4 powerbook to replace my thinkpad, and I am in the process of using a MAC now. I am setting up my MAIL preferences. I cannot seem to get a HTML signature to work. I used to use outlook, and I could paste the html through WORD. I do have MS office insalled, do I need to do something similar?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

tv-ma IS using Mac's Mail program, witeshark. Read more carefully.

As for your question, I don't believe Mail supports HTML signatures. They're considered an annoyance in the Unix world, and Mac OS X is just a fancy Unix, so it kinda makes sense. If you absolutely need HTML signatures, you may have to resort to using Entourage (the Mac equivalent of Outlook, only functional).

Thanks for your posts, I do not want to use the "Entourage" so I will jsut stick with a nice normal sig and continue using MAIL. Yeah, that is why I went ot MAC, I was using office through a crossover plugin on Linux before..I know.. that sounds retarded, but Evolution wasn't robust enough for some of my tasks...So Far I am loving my powerbook, .....:)
