Dude, you are getting one Awesome MBP. Stop wondering and Enjoy ;P

Plus you can always upgrade later, I've been looking into it myself and it doesn't actually seem to be that bad of a deal.

Well, keep in mind, I am using the apple student developer discount, usually that same purchase would cost somewhere around $2,200.

Dont worry about the hard drive. If you really need more space, external hard drivees are pretty cheap these days.

Thats a great deal. I actually did the same thing. I get an Employee Discount through my Company. I saved about $300 on my MacBook purchase. I did upgrade it to the 160GB because it was practically free. But non the less u r still getting a Splendid MBP the price u'd pay to upgrade save a bit more money and get an External HD with bigger storage.

Can you get the both the free iPod and free printer with the purchase of a macbook? How do you get the rebate? Did you have to cut the UPC code off the macbook pro box?

I actually don't know how that is going to work yet, I haven't gotten the computer yet. And I wasn't eligible for the free iPod, because I use the student DEVELOPER discount, not the student discount.

You can only get one.

You place the rebate online then you have to print out a page and mail it in with the UPC code off of the computer box and the printer box.

When did you order yours? I ordered mine on July 25th, and its slated to arrive somewhere between August 7th to the 14th. I'm just curious how long it really took from the ordering point to the shipping point... :)

This is NOT true whatsoever.... you most certainly can get BOTH the Free iPod (after $199 rebate) AND a free printer (after $99 rebate).

Interesting. I thought apple wouldn't allow you to do the two. It was either one or the other. :)

Show me how I can get both?
