Do You Need To Defrag The Hard Drive On An Apple Like Windows After Removing Programs? Also, I Have Been Using Spotlight To Remove All Files Associated With A Program That I Remove To Trash. Is That The Right Way To Get Rid Of Programs That You Install And Then Want To Delete?

OS X defrags in idle time automatically. that's why walkerj says No to your first question.

It is good to get rid of all of the bits of programs, and using spotlight is a good way to do it, but there are some programs out there that supposedly do this for you.

Appdelete
AppZapper

are a couple,

Best,
