just wondering what discount students get in the UK when purchasing a macbook?

i heard it was a percentage off your purchase?
also heard you may not get a discount, instead get money off an Ipod...

can anyone clarify this for me please?

Most of the mac's give you anywhere from $20 - 200 off the total amount of the computer. I just bought a mini using my educational discount, and it only took $20 off. However, the iMac was $100 off. I'm sure the macPro was $200 off. If you switch to the education store on apple.com, the prices change.

What are you talking about? There is an educational store online. Just click educational and you'll get the pricing.

The problem being that if you're in the UK and you're looking for HIGHER educational discounts, you can't actually view them unless you're viewing the page from your institution's network. Making the problem that people who aren't already at University can't see what prices they want until they get there, by which point it's a little late.

They're the same for every school online. Just pick one, it's pretty easy.
