Is it possible to tripple boot a Macbook so i can run maxOSX, vista and ubuntu?

Also with my PC, i have an extra partition for my data. this means that if something bad happens to one of my OS's then my data is safe and untoutched. Can a similer thing be done with a MAC?

Thanks
