Just double-click on the font file and FontBook will open and allow you to install the font.

Ok, i just tried that, and it asked what app i should use to open it. I tried using Font Book but it wouldn't open. Now these fonts are in .sit format. The site i got them from displayed them as being Mac compatible, so is there anything i'm doing wrong, or are these wrong file types?

You need to get stuffit to unarchive them first.

StuffIt is a file compression program. Get StuffIt Expander, which is free.

Have a look at Linotype Font Explorer. It's a free download and is superior to Font Book.
