I say fake, too. I can't believe Apple are going to rearrange all the dashboard and expose hotkeys, that would be dumb.

I also love the Macbook's keyboard...but I really hope that the new keyboard Apple hopefully will be releasing soon won't look like that.

Someone's cobbled that together out of a MacBook keyboard. The more I look at it the more unlikely it is.

I hope this one is fake..
Macbooks buttons are not good at all..if u want some nice buttons get MBP's buttons that rocks!!
Anyway i think is stupid idea to get a full keyboard with laptop buttons...

The thing that really stands out is that the volume function and eject keys have been re-lebaled with F17 - 20... I can't see why Apple would do that.

Being a touch typist, I would hope that this is just a concept. Desktops should have a real keyboard, with plenty of tactile feedback. I know Apple is famous for form over functionality, but having a "real" keyboard is one of the few advantages a desktop still has over a notebook.

Hmm. *rubs chin* What breaks it for me are those function keys - I just don't see Apple shuffling the Expose, Eject and volume keys around, especially when the keys they are currently on are still there. Why move the Eject key and confuse existig Mac users just to create a few extra function keys? The function keys are largely unused anyway, who wants F16-F19?.

And frankly it doesn't look like something Jonathan Ive would create. I still say either fake, or possibly concept/prototype.

Eta: And anther thing. See how the bottom row of keys are all slightly taller, including the keypad? The arrow keys aren't, they're the same size as the regular keys. It looks odd.

Austin, I'm with you ~ variety in the marketplace is good (plus, after three months on my MacBook, "normal" keyboards annoy me!)

Well worst case if that is true, you can always buy a different keyboard to use...
