Convert video to iPod format QUICKTIME -- audio video not in sync

I'm not sure why this is happening, but sometimes when I convert movies to the ipod video format using quicktime the audio and video get off sync. Could this be because I generally convert several movies at a time?

Any help would be much appreciated...

Out of curiosity, what sort of files are you trying to covnert?

avi? mpeg? wma?

the original format is avi

Try using iSquint instead. It much faster than Quicktime.
