network questions on wep network

Hi,
I want my computer to automatically connect to wep wireless network w/ password when I boot up or open my my macbook while running. How do I do this? Thanks in Advance.

First of all this probably should be in the "airport networking" section but no worries.

And to answer your question. When it asks for you wep key when joining a network check the box that says, "add to my keychain." Then add the network to your prefferred networks list in the sys prefs- network category under the airport tab.

Also, you might as well turn WEP off as at this point in time, it is so completely ineffective, you're just adding additional complexity to your network with little to no gain. If you have the option of WPA/WPA2, use that instead. See the wireless networking FAQ link in my signature for more information.
