Speeding up Crossover...

13 inch Macbook Pro Retina, 2.7ghz, 128gb SSD
I use Crossover so that I can use MS Word 2003 for windows on my mac. However when I first launch crossover (first time after rebooting my mac) it is very slow. It takes 1-1.5 min to open up.

Does any know how to speed up crossover?

Uh why are you doing that? Why not get MS Office for Mac?

Because It doesn't work on my intel mac. I bounces in the dock and then just disappears. I've tried everything, from deleting the preferences files, to repairing permissions, to even cleaning system and user cache.

I just want to wait for the next version of MS Office. Will this also run under roseta?

So, does anyone know about how to speed up crossover?
