I have Win-2000 pro can I use it? How? I want to be able to play games on my macbook (2.16, 2gig) without buying XP >_< When I try and use bootcamp its just stuck on the "detecting hardware" initial screen.

No, it must be windows XP with Service Pack 2 slipstreamed onto the install. Sorry about that man!

You can run Windows 2000 and Ubuntu in Parallels (at the same time if you want), but only WinXP SP2 can be run from Bootcamp.

No. Windows 2000 is not supported by Bootcamp.

Not really. It does not have to be XP. It can be Windows XP Home/Pro SP2 or any Vista OS.
