Do you still have to pay for shipping to apple if you have applecare?

i will be purchasing a mac laptop soon and was wondering if you are charged for shipping when soemthing breaks and you have to send it in. thanks

I had to send my powerbook in once and I just took it to the applestore i bought it at and they took care of writing up a full report and shipping it out....no charge

I don't think you have to worry about shipping. From what I have read. You make a call to Apple and they send you a shipping box. I am assuming that shipping information is sent with the box.

If you have a covered repair, Apple sends you a pre-paid Airborne Express box to ship the laptop back to them in. I've used this service several times.
