When you chat someone there is an icon that looks like a WebCam. Click that and the Video chat should start.

Okay now I can see the other person, but they can't see me. What settings do I have to have on my end. Also this is only a video chat correct, in other words not video and audio.

File transfer speeds are a lot faster with aMSN than Adium (I use both) on my MBP.

Adium does allow you to log into to multiple accounts simultaneously ( while aMSN does not = which is bad).

You can't close the aMSN window without quit the program, that's stupid too.

The SVN version of aMSN is stable enough.

Can the inbuilt iSight be used with Adium cuz i was told tht it cant but was i told a lie :O:O:O??

Adium at this time does not support the iSight nor Video chat.

i find that with amsn the isight doesnt work with some contacts or some times. also tranfer speeds reach a max of 4 kbps !!! sooo sloooww i am on 5mb broadband.

it also takes longer to load than adium

That files folder it places on the desktop for when someone sends you a file. I am sure there is an option in the preferences to move that somewhere else.
