Intel Slashes Prices - What does this mean for us?

Maybe a price drop on some lines, then again maybe not.

It means the new iMacs won't go up in price from the old models...

I have been thinking if they didn't slash the prices the new iMacs would get a $100 addition to the pricetag. :) I am excited.

Yup, I was thinking something along these lines. Newer technology for the same price :D

I'll be hanging in here with my iMac C2D for along time yet though - Its just a Month Old today!

The last time I noticed Intel announcing price cuts, the next wave of new Macs went down in price as well. So I would imagine the new Macs that will be using these chips (IF they do make it to the Mac) will cost a bit less than the models they are replacing.

But this is all speculation. ;)
