Does mac the ripper shrink movies so that they can fit onto a 4.7 gig disk? If not, what do you guys use to shrink it?

I think MtR only does straight rips. You'll need something like Handbrake to shrink it down.

No it doesn't. I use Toast.

MTR will only rip dvds, to shrink it you will need another program entirely, such as Toast, Popcorn, or programs of the like.
