mac the ripper

hey
so i just downloaded mac the ripper and ripped a dvd to my computer.
does anyone here know how i can get this to show up on itunes? i dont really care if i can put it on my ipod or not, i just want to have all my viewable files in one place.
any information is helpful. if you know any better programs to use, please let me know. thanks.

also, i cant even figure out how to play the movie in the first place. my computer says its not a video file. anyone know how to use this program at all?
