I recently switched back to the mac os after 9 years on windows. The only thing that bothers me is the switch of the command and control key functions. Not only are my fingers more used to control c control v, I think it is easier for the hand to make that key combination.

Is there anyway to switch the mac os to use control c and control v for copy and paste?

It would be even better if I could switch it globally so all apps, including adobe's apps would just reverse the two keys.

Thanks,

Using the command key is a lot easier because you use your thumb as opposed your little finger.

However you can switch the keys over:
1. Go to your system preferences
2. Click on keyboard and mouse
3. Click on keyboard.
4. click on modifier keys

OR you can just do a spotlight search for modifier keys

Sort of works

Thanks for the reply. I made the changes as follows:
Command key = ctl
Control = Command.

Seems to work in most applications. Thanks! You saved my sanity

Funny, I always like the older Apple catch phrase with regards to this:

When you use a Mac, you "lose control... but gain Command".

;)
