I just got a 7 port USB hub from Newegg made by Zonet. I'm plugging 2 hard drives into it, but it's powered, so I thought it would be ok. At first, I could get my iPod Shuffle and at least one HD to recognize through it, now nothing it working, but the devices are getting power through the hub, so it's not the hub I think. Everything works when connected directly to my MBP.

So my question is, if this hub is no good, what would be a good hub? I found this on Belkin. Anyone have any experience with this one? Also, is trying to use 2 hard drives too much for a USB hub? How can you know what the limit on use is?

Hi,
I just reviewed a nice usb hub made by belkin. 4-ports, top loading, white and goes perfectly with the white Macbooks, mac minis and iMacs. If you're interested click here.

Hope it helps you choose a nice hub.
