touchpad problem

iv searched, my touchpad is well shiny in the middle , i no its from use , anyway of getting rid of it so it has an even surface like when i bought it ,without rubbing the bit that isnt shiny for hours ? cheers

That's just normal wear and tear of the black Macbooks. There really isn't any way to get rid of the shiny part, but as for the matte sections, I guess all you can really do is rub them until they get shiny too

Couldn't you replace the touchpad or is this costly/ not possible?

lol yes thanks: he gave the link to the US site but i am a UK resident so i wasj ust wandering if they sold them in the UK cuz im sure eventually i would need to invest in one!

No problem. The Apple stores usually carry the same things. They are just localized for different locations.
