I just got a brand new macbook. When I put in a DVD or CD, the drive clicks as it is accepting the disc. After a few loud clicks, the sound stops. It sounds like the drive is having trouble accepting the disc..definitely doesn't sound normal. Any help or advice? Should I try to take it into an apple store? I don't want to pay the service fee if I don't have to.

that's right, i guess all MB do that same noise; at least it gets to read your dvd's, right? just don't shake or move it while you're burning any cd/dvd
