Hi!

I just inserted a DVD into my macbook, and the dvd symbol did not appear on the desktop. The movie did not start playing either, so now I don't know how to eject the dvd.
Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Lilbird.

Either hold down the F12 key to eject, or hold your mouse button down while rebooting, it should spit the disk out.

If the disc shows up in Disc Utility (Applications>Utilities) you should be able to eject it from there. If that doesn't work, then you'll need to hold down the mouse button while rebooting.
