USB 2.0? external drive?

How can i tell if my emac is usb 2.0 or not? Im looking into getting an external DVD burner so if anybody has any suggestions im all ears.

20" iMac C2D 2.16ghz, 13" MacBook 2.0ghz, 60gb iPod vid, 1gb nano
Only the newest model (1.25 ghz) has USB 2.0

the 1ghz and below do not have 2.0

But you could get an external FireWire drive -- that runs 400Mbps, only 80Mbps slower than USB 2.0.

In real life, the FW400 is still faster than USB 2.0.

Check your System Profiler to see what USB standard your eMac supports.

Get the firewire DVD burner. The constant through put on the firewire port is better than on the usb port.
