Free iPod Nano promotion in the UK?

Hi there!

I'll be getting a Macbook in the not so distant future, but i've got a few questions before i make the purchase.

When i've just been generally browsing about on Apples website i noticed on the american site that college students get a free Nano with the educational promotion etc.
So when i go onto the UK Apple store i find no such promotion at all!
Can anyone shead some light on this?

No the promotion isn't available in the UK.

Even though you don't get the free nano, (which is really annoying for us non Americans), you can still get the educational discount, which knocks a fair amount off the price.

Wait untill autumn. Should pop up again, at least there was a similar thing last autumn, after the semester starts.

The Study,Play,Save offer ends tonight so there will be a new offer to replace it soon - i would guess that the new offer will be the iPod one just like last year

Its a student finance option spread over 10 months at only 3.9% interest

Oh i see.
Mine's going on a 12 month interest free on purchases credit card, i've just gotta make myself pay a little off each month
