i dont have no mac's
if you know your computer will not break within in two years then dont get it
if you know your computer will break in two years then get it

long story short, the choice is up to you, you might save yourself a few hundred bucks by not getting it, or by trying to save a few hundred bucks it might cost you close to three grand

Its all your opinion or maybe the condition of your iMac

I'd go for it because I don't feel confident enough to personally service something as crampt as an iMac if it were to go wrong. Good luck!

Clint Eastwood gives you your answer: "Do you feel lucky?"

I have been messing with computers and other electronics for about 35 years and have never once bought the "extended" insurance they offer...I'm way ahead of the game having never had the need for it.

If your the type that on the day you pay it off it breaks, then by all means get the insurance.
