Is there any way to turn off the pulsating sleep light?

No, but you could put tape over it, or put something in front of it.

Me 2! Doubt you can shut it off though.

I just put some electrical tape over it at night, there’s a solution for you but not too sure on a software 1, haha.

Hah, how does it keep you up? Just don't look there!

Or simply, just put something in front of it before going to sleep. Like an eraser, a book, a post it note, etc...

wow, how close do you sleep to your MBP :)

You could just turn your MBP around and have the light facing the wall.
