OK guys here the crack I was going to wait until Leopard came out in fact I had decided that I would, but I can't wait, so looking on the refurb store I came across (it might go any time so I'll have to be quick) A 2.16Ghz machine, I won't go through all the specs, as I'm basically looking for your views on the difference between the Vid Cards
so which is the better the
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with 128MB SDRAM
or
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with 128MB of GDDR3 SDRAM

Any thoughts ?

Your Mac's Specs
iMac 17" Intel Core Duo, 2 GB RAM + 20" ACD
The older models had the ATI Mobility Radeon X1600, like the iMacs. The current generation uses the NVIDIA card- which, I believe, is DirecetX-10 compatible should you want to install Vista and play games.

I'd go with the NIVIDIA card.

Sooper Fast!
Nvidia benchmarks with a score that's about 2k higher, which is very good.
