Networking Printers
I am having the same problem with a Macbook trying to print to either a Canon or HP printer connected to PC. I now understand the issue and downloaded and installed Printfab, which has a driver for my Canon S900 printer.
For my configuration Printfab tell me to use the Mac Print Utility, Windows printing, select a workgroup and computer and select the desired printer. I get that far but then it tells me to select a Printfab driver. It asks me to enter a printer name in the field "Name" but at this point there is no "Name" field available to enter a name. All i see in the dialog box beyond my printer is field to select "Printer Model" at the bottom. I followed the user instructions but am unable to figure out how to select a Printfab driver.
