Heh. Well, I really hope everything works out for you this time..assuming you are currently attempting to get a new hard drive. That sucks man, but I guess it could be worse...the drive could've blown up and killed you?

I wish it did blow up and kill me. But it didn't.

And I shall take it to the Apple Store tomorrow because Mom isn't home to drive me and Dad enjoys watching me moan over my PowerBook issues while his is better and perfect.

...I miss my baby. :(

That is so odd....have you checked your computing enviorment for anything that might be killing the drives? Magnetic items, metal table that has become magnatized, transporting method that shocks the laptop? We had a guy at work that kept loosing his HD and it turned out he kept sticking a magnetic sign on his CPU case but would remove everything before the techs came to replace it.

Other than that, it has to be a motherboard or power supply problem to keep frying the HD.

I got good news, great news, and even greater news.
Good news: They are repairing the hard drive again.
Great news: If it fails again I get a new model for a small fee, Grandma and I will be taking care of that. :)
GREATER NEWS: It will take 5-7 buisness days to fix the hdd, so you guys get to be without be for a while!

:p
So umm, help. I miss OS X, but OS X can't run unless I get a whole new motherboard, which I can't afford. My iMac has a faulty graphics card.

PAYPAL PLZ.

UUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHHH.
Update: Apple decided to replace the motherboard. I'm pissed, because I was looking forward to a new computer.
Know what else pisses me off? They're sending it to Apple. So I wont have it back for a while. School ends on the 16th, I have a lot of things due that need to be typed out. I NEED Word, Simple Text won't cut it.

I hope to death that it's the power supply... ;)
AND. I LOST MY FRIGGEN REPORT. THAT WAS ON THE HDD. And I don't have Word. I talked to my science teacher, I'm hoping she'll give me time.

2 freezes. While Word was installing fonts. The third time it didn't, though.
