Like DB stated, you can use Finder for data and iTunes for music. If you want a program that is like Nero and does it all, Roxio Toast. I am a Nero lover also and Toast was easy to get used to after years of Nero on the PC.

Another vote for toast, itunes gives me problems sometimes with burning audio discs :( Toast does everything I need.

Toast 6 works for me evertytime. But I use toast 8 for direct cd to cd burning with my imac. I don't like version 8 but version 6 doesn't do that cd to cd burning I sometimes need.

i know that toast looks fancy and can probably do some more stuff but all i need it to burn a music cd for a car journey or a cd or dvd of photos to show family and friends.

easy peasy !

Toast 8 is good, but maybe to over the top in many cases. I never use Disco, because I hardly burn discs as such, but I have it (because I got it free) and it seems to be pretty sweet.
