under the temperatures it only has CPU A and a bunch of other things, but no CPU B... i have a brand new core 2 duo macbook.. shouldnt there be a CPU B too?

No, there is only 1 CPU, its a dual core CPU, but there still is only one in there. You're thinking of dual processor, which is different, and has 2 seperate cpus.
