I want to rip some footage from a DVD to insert in a movie I'm doing using iMovie HD. The DVD is not protected, however, when I ran Handbrake, something I have used many times, the picture and sound were out of sync.

Can anybody recommend a solution or an alternative piece of software?

I've never encountered this issue myself, but I have read about. I'd recommend checking the Handbrake forums as I know it has been discussed.
