Need help deciding on Powerbook

I am a UNIX admin that uses a PIII 800 IBM thinkpad. I run Linux on it. I want to use MAC, and am looking at a Powerbook G4 667 MHz with 512 MB ram will I be disappointed with the performance compared to what I am using now? My thinkpad has 384 MB ram currently. thanks for any help.

Actually, you will probably notice somewhat of a performance increase.
