Earlier today I started changing the icons for various folders/applicatons using icons from interfacelift.com. Everything was looking ok, until I reopened Safari and found that all of my bookmarks were gone! I checked my history and it was all still there.
I went to firefox which has the same bookmarks, and they weren't there either! I spotlighted boomarks.plst and opened it but it didn't have any of my bookmarks.
So I went to open iChat, and it put me through the whole initial setup thing where I put in my screename etc. Then some of my friend's screenames were showing instead of their contact names.
Then I opened Mail and had to go through the initial setup there too, but it already new my email address. Then i looked and it had saved 3 of my folders in mail, and deleted seemingly random messages.
What is going on?!?! Help someone!
