My G4 iBook is not recognizing anything that is plugged into the USB ports, it's not the cables because I've plugged them in to another iBook and it's recognized. It won't recognize my iPod or external harddrive.
Also, when I click on the blue apple and go to 'about this mac' and 'more info' and then to USB it says "no information found" when it's plugged in. I've restarted a million times and repaired the disk permissions. What can I do about this?? I've read about resetting the PMU but I don't want to if that won't help or delete everything.
