Video clip

Is it possible to make a short Video clip using the Photobooth camera on the MacBook lid. I have tried but not having any luck

You need to use iMove HD I think...

Thanks for the reply, I have tried that but it comes up with the message NO CAMERA FOUND so not sure if its me doing something wrong

You can do it in 3 ways (as far as I'm aware)
1. Purchase Quicktime Pro and select new movie recording from the file menu
2. Download the freeware application called irecord. You can download irecord from - http://www.freemacware.com/irecord/
3. Use imovie to make a video

The second option would be the best because its the fastest way and also the cheapest (you don't have to purchase quicktime pro)

Go to iMovie and click on the little camera to the left of the play button... close to the scissors.. click built in i-sight... that should do it
