MacBook 2.4Ghz Black 4GB;iPod Touch 8GB;iPod mini 4GB silver;Logitech MX1000;
hi, I my mom has a G3 800Mz ibook. I recently used it and it is toooo slow, so i have decided to put mare ram in it, it has the 128 mb built-in Ram. Should i put 256 or 512, my mom only uses Word and Mail.

The price of RAM is relatively cheap, so I'd install the most you can afford.

I motion for 512. You can find it on forums for around $65 or so and I know OS X.2 sucked with 384....it was wayyy too slow. I just wish I could drop a gig in my G3 iBook. Guess I'll have to settle for less.
