Hi,
Last night I finally upgraded all the, erm, upgrades which Apple brought out last week for the MBP. One of them was a firmware upgrade for my Matshuia (sp) DVD drive. The firmware updated fine, but now when I turn on my laptop and it gets to the desktop, a box appears telling me that there is no hardware found that requires the firmware update.
It's kind of like it is still trying to install the new firmware after it has been installed and can't fins somewhere to go, or a few versions of firmware downloaded for different drives and this one has nothing to update on my laptop.
Anyway, what i am wondering is can I make this box stop popping up when I boot up? I know I can just click quit but I don't want it there each time (reminds me too much of my pc when it boots up having 3 or 4 windows I would have to click before it was happy).
Anyone else experience this? any way of getting rid of it?
Thanks,
Mel
