Is there a good AIM program for Mac. Don't pass me off as a total noob, but I just got my Mac, been usin them at school for a while, but just got my own. We had iChat there and it worked fine, but on mine, iChat will hit AIM for a split second and then disconnect. It will not stay connected long enough for me to see my buddy list. Thanks.

No worries, we all had to start somewhere, but make sure you utilize the search function as basic questions have been asked and answered multiple times.

AIM for Mac and iChat never worked for me. Tons of people use Adium which is free and supports multiple IMs. That's what I use and it works great.
