I am trying to get these items to work all together:
MacBook Pro
HP 6110 All-In-One printer
Simpleshare NAS drive, with built in USB to support USB printers
I am able to see the NAS and the printer on the NAS when adding a printer, but for some reason it will not connect and actually print. This is how I have done it so far:
Print and Fax-->Add printer-->Default Browser selected-->More Printers-->Windows Printing-->My workgroup is selected-->NAS is selected-->Printer selected-->OfficeJet 6110 selected-->Add pressed
I think go to print something, and it says unable to connect to Samba host will retry. Then it goes to something that says no memory.
I kow this printer works in my network, as I can print from another laptop on my network. It has also printed from this MBP when connected directly. Never used it over a network like this though.
I also tried the Appletalk, but was not able to detect it... any help would be appreciated.
