Well, I am not necessarily new to Garage band but I'm in a little predicament. I have downloaded a midi file (the song is Holiday for strings) off of the internet, and the tempo, once imported into garageband, it at its highest level but the song is still way to slow. I have had this problem before with some other songs, but this song is usually played at a faster tempo. Is there any other way to make the tempo faster than what you can set at slider the bottom of Garageband? Or, is there any other plug-in or just some other way to import it, or to increase the tempo? The midi file when played in Quick Time plays at it's intended tempo, but I would like to enhance the song by adding Garageband's instruments.This is the only midi that really has what I want and I'm doing this for my own personal pleasure.
