Why does Google show up as GOOGLE.CA

Didn't know were else to ask this but since I use a macbook pro I thought I asked here why does google come up as google Canada. Does it come as canada for any one-else. I live in UTAH,US

That's a DNS issue. try type in google.com and see what happens.

It's worth remembering that the internet is not flat, or the same everywhere in the world.

Yea I typed in GOOgle.com and its takes me to google canada

Mine does that too when I type .com. But, Power to Canada.

I've seen that when I'm in Vancouver Canada at my brother's house, using my laptop from the U.S. It drives me a little nuts. As soon as I get back to the states, it fixes it self. I suspect google is looking at your IP address and thinks you are in Canada.

Perhaps you should figure out your internet address and try to inform Google of their bad ways.

Is it possible that you inadvertently set a cookie that Google is using to determine your location? Just a thought.

If you haven't already tried, I'd recommend you purge cookies.

Im in Ireland and sometimes I get Google in German (im not the only one). I think my problem has something to do with the location of my ISP's equipment or partnerships.... thats what I have come up with?
