I just searched and could find nothing on this. But I just up-dated yesterday. and when I restarted my mac, when it loaded up I got a message stating: No updateable devices found: No devices found that require this firmware update. Now everytime I start up my computer, this happens. What does this mean, and how can I fix it?

Yeah, ditto, I'm getting this too... I will say however that my Superdrive makes less noise. now instead of "REEErooo"... it's just "REro" when you wake from sleep and such so that's cool.

You will need to remove the updater from your login items.

Go into System Preferences under Accounts and you will see where you can remove it.
