Hello all!
For now, I have decided to purchase an iBook G3, 700 or 800MHz, Combo Drive, until I can get the funds for a PowerBook. So, I will be joining the Mac Community soon! =) I need to know some things though:
1: Where can I get RAM for the iBook G3? I need a good, cheap source for it. I'd like to max it out to 640MB with a 512MB chip.
2: Is there anything that it won't run too well? I _need_ to run Photoshop, but nothing too intensive. However, will iMovie/iDVD work (i know, I can't burn DVDs, but i'll make an ISO and burn it with my PC.)? Also, any luck with GarageBand?
3: Airport cards. Where do you get them? I can't use Extreme cards, but I can use regular AirPort. Can you still get them thru Apple? How much?
4: I purchased a Linksys WAP54G Access Point on Sunday, and it works beautifully =)
5: Any accessories I should get for the 'Book?
6: What bookbag should I get for it? The guy I am buying it from includes a Targus bookbag, but I want to know if there's something better for pretty cheap?
Thanks!
